Independent artist Black Kenn was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. Growing up music was always around and heavily influenced his life but he dreamed of becoming a pro basketball player. Black Kenn dedicated himself to becoming the best player he could be throughout high school and college, but that dream was blocked which left him with his second passion, music. For Black Kenn freestyling and rapping came to him naturally, but this is no surprise because as a kid he enjoyed poetry and story-telling. After hearing him rap his childhood friend and producer Gustoo saw something in Black Kenn and persuaded him to get into music. Black Kenn would then dedicate himself to creating music day in and day out, creating a unique style that him and Gustoo have crafted to take worldwide. Giving their listeners an out of-this-world experience with the blends of digital, trap, futuristic and classic hip-hop flavors.
